At the request of the British Virgin Islands Airports Authority's Operations Department, some information regarding the Virgin Gorda (Taddy Bay) Aerodrome has been removed from the Aerodrome data pages due to rigid operating requirements and restrictions. Aircraft operators wishing to operate into Virgin Gorda Aerodrome must first contact the British Virgin Islands Airport Authority (BVIAA).

Virgin Gorda (Taddy Bay) Aerodrome is a special airport and therefore special permission must be received to fly to Virgin Gorda (Taddy Bay) Aerodrome.

The Airport is a Prior Permission Required (PPR) Airport.  Access to our PPR website can be found here.  In order to gain access to the website you must first register for an account. Upon approval you will receive a confirmation with your login details and password. 

Pilots of single engine aircraft intending to fly into Virgin Gorda (Taddy Bay) Aerodrome must ensue that the Pilot in command has:

  1. 1500 Hours total flying time
  2. At least 100 Hours on multi-engine piston a/c including at least 50 Hours in a/c being flown. 
  3. 3 Landings at the Virgin Gorda (Taddy Bay) Aerodrome as handling pilot within the previous 90 days. 
  4. Is throughly familiar with the Verbal Orientation Briefing (VOB).
