Reopening of the Territory’s Airports Due to the Passage of Hurricane Irma

The BVI Airports Authority announces the resumption of commercial fights in the Territory’s airports.

Commercial flights have officially resumed at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, a big step forward for the British Virgin Islands since the devastation caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The announcement was made by the British Virgin Islands Airports Authority.

Carriers resuming commercial operation to Tortola include Cape Air, LIAT, InterCaribbean, and Seaborne Airlines. 

the T.B. Lettsome Internation Airport is currently operating from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily, until further notice.

To avoid unnecessary delays and long lines, the Airports Authority is advising travelers to arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure time.
